Adam Milstein has spoken at various Israeli council gatherings in Washington D.C. and other places and has helped raise funds to support his land of birth. Recently he was named to the Jerusalem Post’s list of Top 50 Most Influential Jews of 2016, a list that included big names such as Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, US Senator Chuck Schumer and philanthropists Haim Saban and Lynn Schusterman.

Adam Milstein saw Israel fight through different conflicts as a young man growing up there. His parents had moved to the new nation-state not long after it was established in 1948. His father fought in the initial war of independence and then became a building framer and construction manager.

Adam’s family often traveled the country due to his father’s job. Adam is the oldest of three sons, and was the first to serve in the military during the 1973 Yom Kippur War.

According to HuffingtonPost, Adam Milstein got his bachelor’s degree from the Technion, Israeli Institute of Technology and then joined his father in various property construction projects. He relocated to the US in 1981 where he got his MBA from USC, and then joined Hager Pacific Properties in Los Angeles.

Adam is now a Managing Partner at that firm. He became mostly dedicated to philanthropic work after starting the Milstein Foundation in the year 2000, and has made it his goal to be actively involved in each organization he supports. He’s helped start the Israeli-American Council (IAC), Stand With Us, Jerusalem U, Hillel International, Birthright Israel and Hasbara Fellowships.
