Norman Pattiz is an American based broadcasting entrepreneur. He has founded and led various companies including PodcastOne, Westwood One, and Courtside Entertainment Group. One of his successful entities includes the Westwood One, which is one of the largest media companies and radio network in the United States. The company is the provider of sports, entertainment, traffic programming, news, and talk shows. Westwood One has managed and distributed some of the leading networks in the country including CNN Radio, CBS News, NFL Football, NBC radio networks, The Super Bowl, and the Mutual Broadcasting System, among others.
President Clinton appointed Norman Pattiz to serve on the Broadcasting Board of Governors (BBG) in the United States in 2000. His 40 years of experience in radio syndication helped him lead BBG in overseeing the non-military broadcasting services in the United States. Some of the broadcasting service providers under BBG include the “Radio Liberty,” “Middle East Broadcasting,” and “The Voice of America,” among others. Mr. Pattiz helped in launching the Arabic Language and Television services in the Middle East’s 22 countries as well as introducing the Farsi language to the Iranians.
In 2012, Norman Pattiz launched the PodcastOne, the largest advertising network in the United States under the Podcast network. He currently serves as the Founder and the Chairman of the network. PodcastOne hosts the spoken word audios as well as plays of more than 200 popular podcasts in the country. The network has announced the debut of a new podcast called “Beyond the Darkness.” The podcast is part of Chris Jericho Network Collection that will air every Monday on PodcastOne.com, PodcastOne application, and iTunes.

Chris Junior Network is one of the most popular podcasts on PodcastOne that started as a wrestling network but has now expanded to other areas. The new paranormal which will feature the world’s renowned researchers is expected to increase more fan base to the network. Additionally, he is the Chairman of two laboratories including Los Alamos National Security Labs and the Lawrence Livermore.
